The Craftsman Homes NW Team is committed to providing our clients with top-quality design and construction services on every project we engage. Whether building from one of our own unique plans or executing a home or remodeling project designed by others, we are always focused on bringing together the right products, materials and craftsmen to achieve exceptional results for our clients.
Craftsman Homes NW was founded in 2002 by Michael Chadduck. Michaelís 20+ years of experience in the building trades includes general contracting as well as hands-on exposure to many of the trades. His first exposure to carpentry was in his grandfatherís woodshop at age 7. Since then, Michael has worked in several construction positions and has become an accomplished craftsman. Michael started his first construction company in 1989 while attending college full-time. After graduating in 1992, Michael moved to Spokane and continued as a general contractor through the Ď90s.
Beyond his extensive work as a general contractor, Michael worked as a professional consultant to the service and manufacturing industries. Before starting Craftsman Homes Northwest he worked as a management consultant for Bovino Consulting Group, an international consultancy that offers a wide range of quality, productivity and employee training programs to businesses. Michael has worked with companies around North America including mining operations, sawmills, OSB plants and log home manufacturers. This work provided extensive exposure to quality and productivity initiatives, mainly in the wood products industry. In 2002 Michael decided to turn in his frequent flyer wings and focus on his dream: building high quality handcrafted homes. Michaelís strong background in project management and general contracting, coupled with his in-depth experience implementing quality and productivity initiatives, provides a solid foundation of knowledge for Craftsman Homes NW.
Michaelís educational background includes a BA in business and economic history from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Gonzaga University. Outside of his degree programs, he has completed coursework in architectural history, architectural design and real estate law. Michael currently resides in Spokane with his wife and three children.
